We had River City Hardwood complete a renovation where they added white oak flooring to the living room, hallways and master bed room, tying into existing wood floor in the kitchen. From the moment they arrived to do the estimate, it was clear to us that these guys are craftsmen – the attention to detail and explanation of the process was incredible. We inquired about converting the stairs to oak treads and Derek worked with us to obtain the material so we could do that part of the installation ourselves. Communication about timeline and making adjustments to work with our schedule was never an issue. We had existing floor that had about 50% small knots and we wanted to keep that same look so Derek ordered a sample bundle so that we could estimate how much grade 1 and grade 2 to mix to keep the same look. During the installation-the consideration for keeping dust to a minimum was so appreciated. The floors look beautiful and I could not be more satisfied. I would recommend Derek and Shawn to everyone! The very last statement at the end of the project from Derek was “is there anything else we can do for you?” Such great customer service.
